Hello all!  I am very terrible with ‘About Me’ sections.  -shrugs-  Here goes nothing!  I am a crafter, with a concentration in knitting.  I cosplay, which is dressing up as Japanese cartoon characters.  I watch anime and read manga when I have the time.  I am home schooled, and will hopefully be going to NCSU for a bachelors in Meteorology.  (If that doesn‘t change in the next few months.)  I am currently a resident of Fayetteville, NC.  Soon I will be a resident of Cary, NC.  YAY moving out of my parents house!  I have a wonderful boyfriend, with whom I am moving in with.  He cares for me and I loves him. >.<

I am heavy into the DIY aspect of things.  I knit like crazy.  I like to knit cute little toys based on my anime interests.  I like making hats, gloves, washcloths, scarf’s, blankets, sweaters, and most anything you can shake a pair of needles at.  I am beginning to learn how to use a sewing machine.  I hope to learn how to make curtains, quilts (I already have a design in mind), pillow cases, clothes, and my costumes.  So yea, I love making things myself! ^.^

So when I say that I am into cosplaying, watching anime, and reading manga, that basically means that I am an otaku/nerd/geek.  I attend an anime convention dubbed Animazement.  My boyfriend runs the AMVs and such. >.<  My anime taste is a bit odd.  I love cute stuff!  Azumanga Daioh is a perfect example!  Although, I also love my mecha.  Cute-Mecha would be the perfect combination for me!  Kinda like Martian Successor Nadiseco, only cuter.  Oh, being a nerd stretches outside of Japanese culture.  I play Magic: The Gathering, I am starting to get into RPGs, I play video games occasionally, and I am sorta addicted to Guitar Hero.  I <3 my Wii!

I don’t even want to think about getting married or children!!!!  (If only my parents would understand this >.>)

I love House!  It is my favorite show that is currently airing.  I also watch Fringe, Sanctuary, The Simpson’s, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, My Name is Earl, The Office, 30 Rock, and random reality shows when I have nothing better to do.

I have no idea what my religious preferences are… I just believe that if there is a God, he is more about the love, and less about the hate.  Churches seem to be very judgmental, and I don’t think that is the greatest way for a church to be.

I have a little brother, and he is going though his ‘Emo’ phase.

I have a perfectly nerdy boyfriend.  He is very cuddly!

I used to live in Bishop Hill, IL, and I hope to visit it again someday.

I have a stuffed tiger, and his name is Agent Stripe.  He is Agent.

Burrito, I is one.

I am quite Liberal when it comes to personal rights, yet quite Conservative when it comes to spending money.

I don’t mind paying higher taxes if it means the quality of life in America goes up.  If that makes me a Socialist, then so be it.

I have four dogs, Chica the Boston Terrier, Izzie the Jack Russel, Squeaks the Poodle mix, and Peanut the Beagle.  I miss my Great Dane/Mastiff puppy Helldozer a lot.

I do not have a best friend, I just have tons of good friends!

Eating meat makes me sick to my stomach, so I try not to eat it often.

I will cry more over a dead animal on the side of the road, than if it was a person.

I used to work at a grocery store, so I know what they do with your food. (yuck)

It will be a low day in my life when I apply to work at a fast food establishment.

My life goal is to never have to worry about anything.

I like to cook and bake.  I am quite good at it too!

I like to be really nice to cashiers at any place of business, because I know that people can be mean to them.  (I have experience with this! )
